Dartmouth Castle Pleasure Boat
Inside and outside blast and recoat of a 27-metre pleasure boat
- Contractor
- Mike Barrow (owner)
- Location
- Dartmouth, Devon
- Sector
- marine
A 27-metre passenger pleasure boat, blast cleaned inside and out, primed, then top-coated in marine-grade epoxy. The hull went from bare steel to a finished, certified working surface ready to take fare-paying passengers up the River Dart.
Inside-and-out work on a vessel this size means scaffold, ventilation, and a careful media choice — coarse enough to clean fast, fine enough not to damage thin plate.
