Our commitment
Rocket Blasting Ltd is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We believe everyone should be able to find out about our work and get in touch, regardless of how they use the web.
Standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA — the same standard expected of UK public-sector websites and consistent with our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
This includes:
- full keyboard operation with visible focus rings;
- semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer);
- alt text on all meaningful images;
- colour contrast meeting WCAG AA on body and heading text;
- respecting the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting.
Known issues
The site has been tested against WCAG 2.2 AA during build. We're not aware of any blocking issues at the time of writing, but the embedded OpenStreetMap on the contact page is a third-party iframe whose internal accessibility we don't control. If you can't use the map, the postcode (TQ10 9HA) and full address are provided as text alongside it.
If you spot something we've missed, please tell us — see below.
Feedback
If you can't access part of this site, or find a barrier we should fix, please email enquiries@rocketblasting.co.uk or phone 01364 72661. We'll aim to reply within five working days.
Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. If you're not happy with how we respond to a complaint about accessibility, you can contact the EHRC at equalityhumanrights.com .
